When we hear stories from people, the tendency to side with whichever party shares their version with us first is often higher. We then become emotionally attached to the account that we tend to have a bias against any other story that contradicts or challenges it. In order to have an objective outlook on any matter, you need to have all your facts, that means accounts from all sides before you make a fair assessment. Therefore hold your horses after you hear one side of the story. Do not jump into any conclusion. You have got to hear from the other side. Also be sure to keep your emotions in check. Do not let that sway you to one party or the other. Only then would you be in a position to make a credible judgement on the matter.
