To get better, to be better is not a walk in the park. It is tough and it is very hard. Somehow people like to assume that it is easy because of the images that they have been sold by various marketing communications but the reality is so much different than that. Beyond the physical strain that one has to go through, you can never underestimate the mental resilience that is required to stay on the path. Sure, the first few weeks might seem great but when the drive and excitement gets challenged by naysayers or perhaps injuries and the likes, it is on you to pick yourself back up and continue the campaign. Remind yourself why you are doing what you are doing. And if the desire changes along the way, do not resist it. That is life. Make the necessary adjustments and move forward. The end might not be what you have expected in the first place, but it will be the best one for you.
