You might think that just because there is this big push on being transparent, you need to be showing all of your cards. However doing so would be unwise. When dealing with an adversary or competitors or another party for that matter, there needs to always be a trump card. One that you can pull out to change the game. It would be great to have a few of it. In this case, more is good. The element of surprise and strategic planning should be incorporated when dealing with other parties. This does not only apply to business settings but also to working relationships. If you do not want to be a victim, then do what you can to win. Set your sights on the desired outcome. Focus on what you can control. Do not be giving everything away. Even those who say they are do not actually do so. So do not ever fall for that.
