Have you ever observed an exchange that you know nothing about between two parties and make up in your mind which side you are leaning towards? Sometimes you don’t even know how you get there but here is what it was. The one who is more certain has the upper hand. If you can show the appearance of certainty and not waiver, you got this in the bag. It is not only about what you say. It goes beyond that – how your eyes focuses, your hands gestures, the purse of your lips, the posture of your back and everything in between. So bear in mind the next time you are in an exchange with another party/parties, be certain about your points. If that is not possible, show that you are. It will give you the upper hand.
