Sometimes you just can’t help it. You already had a bad day. Things are not going your way. And to top it all off, you feel like you’re coming down with a fever. But you got work to do. You know that you should do it but you just don’t feel like it. I mean, who can blame you. You already got all of those things going for you and you figured that today might just be the day you allow yourself some slack. In your mind, it will just be this one. But what you are doing to yourself is actually training your mind to adopt this routine. To play small. To follow your whims and fancy. Once you got pass the first time, you will eventually go for the second, third, fourth and so on. You will come up with brilliant and sensible reasons to justify your actions. And that will be a part of your life. To be able to master your emotions and feelings will enable you to be the best that you can be. On the other hand, becoming a slave to your emotions will be that hidden obstacle to achieving all that you have set out for simply because it feels so real.
