Watch Your Mouth

You probably have heard this before. There is a very good reason why we are born with two ears and just one mouth – more listening, less talking. Your words can certainly be as sharp as a dagger. Do not let that seemingly harmless organ fool you. Unless you have a time machine that can undo some of the things you say, it would do you a ton of good to keep your mouth under lock and key. It is not just words mind you. It is the tone of your voice, the way you say it, the volume you used. Believe me, it is a mouthful, pun intended. Often times, when we are in the state of high negative emotions, we tend to lose control. And that is the very instant that you should lock your mouth and throw away the key. Better that than not being able to take back the things you say in the heat of the moment. Seriously, at all times, watch your mouth.
