If you ever doubt that who you spend your time the most with can affect you in some way or form, look at the people closest to you. How have your energies correspond with each other? Has your life been drained out of you or is there more zest in it now? It is really recommended to perform a weekly or daily checklist of the people that you spent most of your time with during that period and how did they make you feel. It does not necessarily have to be written or typed, in the very least, a mental note. Align the findings to what you want your life to be, to mean. If it does, good news for you. You on the right track. If it doesn’t, you should know what to do. No, you don’t have to severe all ties with them, but perhaps lesser time spent together would do you much good.
